Only the Milk Bar™ teat ensures lambs and kids suckle slowly, as nature intended, at a controlled rate and producing maximum saliva, their natural defence mechanism.
Start lambs/kids off on the softer yellow colostrum teat before moving them onto the firmer, longer lasting black teat.
The correct height for the lamb/kids to feed is approximately 30cm from the floor.
Each black teat is recommended for 250 feeds.
To clean inside the Milk Bar™ teat use hot water and an alkali detergent at least 3 times per week.
Use a horizontal scrubbing action to wash outside the teats.
These are not recommended for use as ad-lib feeders.
