Automated footbath with jets
Dairy Spares has launched the Vink walk-through footbath in which liquid is jetted between the cow's toes ensuring removal of contamination. As the design also ensures cattle walk through slowly, this leads to thorough cleaning of hooves and also allows time for the liquid to penetrate. A sieve and brush construction separates solid contaminants from the liquid before it is recycled. The footbath is connected to a reservoir of the liquid, from which levels in the tray are topped-up automatically. In this way, every cow in the herd receives the same quality of treatment.
